Precautions
.Power Supply: Use 3-phase 4-wire system; add a ground wire if missing to prevent electric shock. Install a circuit breaker and switch matching the motor nearby to protect against burnout from impeller blockages.
.Installation: No foundation needed—lean the pump securely or tie it with ropes. Check motor rotation direction after startup; reverse operation must not exceed 1 minute.
.Debris Prevention: Remove weeds, wires, bricks, etc., from the liquid beforehand. Use a wire basket to avoid impeller damage or pipe blockages.
.Cleaning: After pumping mud or sludge, run clean water through the pump briefly to flush the interior.
.Outdoor Use: Equip the motor with a protective cover to prevent water ingress.
.Submersible Operation: Hang the pump on a tripod for river/lake mud suction; use floats or boats for mobility. In earthwork, ensure high-pressure water breaks soil into pieces no larger than 1/3 of the suction inlet diameter.
.Speed Limitation: Do not exceed the rated speed. Reduced speed is allowed but reduces efficiency.
.Load Restriction: When pumping thick mud or over long distances, avoid increasing load by modifying the pump structure.
.Routine Maintenance:After ~1,250 hours (mechanical seal models: ~3,500 hours), disassemble the pump base to inspect bearings and seals. Clean and replace grease; renew oil seals, shaft sleeves, or parts as needed.
.Long-Term Storage: Disassemble the volute, dry all parts, apply anti-corrosive oil to mating surfaces, and store in a dry place.
